How the New Update Service Works

Step 1: Install & Set Up Aadhaar App

  1. Download the Aadhaar app
  2. Enter your Aadhaar number
  3. Verify via OTP
  4. Set a 6-digit login PIN

Now you’re ready to update details.

How to Update Your Mobile Number (Step-by-Step)

  1. Open the Aadhaar app
  2. Enter your 6-digit PIN to log in
  3. Scroll down → tap “My Aadhaar Update”
  4. Select Mobile Number Update
  5. Read the instructions → tap Continue
  6. Enter your old mobile number → verify OTP
  7. Enter your new mobile number → verify OTP
  8. Complete face authentication
    • Look into the camera
    • Blink once
  9. Pay the update fee: ₹75
  10. You’re done — number will be updated
